In the present scenario, there are prime challenges that need to be addressed in modern wireless communication systems. These consist of implementation techniques which meant for increasing capacity and enhancing data rate providing better quality service. Frequency Selective Surfaces (FSSs) help address these by offering spatial filtering this paper, a detailed survey on FSSs is presented with focus fundamental principles, geometries, fabrication employed manufacturing.
